Hand Painted Mini Camel Skin Lamp - Geometric Bloom

Hand Painted Mini Camel Skin Lamp - Geometric Bloom

£44.99

Hand painted camel skin mini table lamp featuring vibrant traditional patterns, created using centuries-old Naqashi painting techniques. Designed as a small decorative accent lamp, it casts a warm, ambient glow that adds character to shelves, side tables, bedside areas, or cosy corners.

Each lamp is handmade using natural camel skin stretched over a wooden frame, then carefully hand painted by skilled artisans. Because every piece is crafted individually, patterns, brushwork, and colour tones may vary slightly, making each lamp truly unique while maintaining the same overall style and quality.

✨ Design & Patterns

This mini lamp is available in five distinct hand-painted patterns, inspired by traditional South Asian art and motifs. Each pattern offers its own personality while sharing the same craftsmanship and materials.

Floral Vine – classic floral motifs with soft, flowing details
Geometric Bloom – symmetrical patterns with bold colour contrast
Whirling Dancer – inspired by traditional Sufi imagery
Petal Motif – delicate repeated petal designs
Heritage Floral – rich, traditional patterning with a vintage feel

🎨 Craft & Story

These lamps are part of a centuries-old craft tradition from Multan, Pakistan, where camel skin lamps have been made and painted by hand for generations. Today, this art form is slowly disappearing as fewer artisans continue the practice.

I work directly with skilled makers in Multan, paying them fairly and supporting the continuation of this traditional craft. Every lamp represents not just décor, but a living piece of cultural heritage kept alive through ethical sourcing and appreciation for handmade work.
